About Me

“I believe great design is a balance of bold ideas, clear communication, and a deep respect for the subject matter.”

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. My creative journey started in the world of screenprint graphics, hand-drawing designs for major apparel brands and eventually leading creative teams responsible for everything from market-ready artwork to catalogs, advertising, and websites. Working in high-volume apparel taught me how to take an idea from a sketch to a finished product that holds up in the real world — not just on a screen.

That foundation in screenprinting, embroidery, and production art shaped how I think about design: make it bold, make it clear, and make it connect with real people.

Design with Intention: The UX Connection

Today, that early experience carries through my work as a User Experience Designer. I focus on clarity, storytelling, and user-centered problem-solving — the same principles that guide my illustration and graphic design. Whether I’m building a digital flow or drawing a classic muscle car, the goal is the same: thoughtful design with purpose behind every line and layout.

A Legacy in Automotive Culture

Automotive art is where my love of illustration and machinery meet. I work in clean vector line illustration, capturing the personality and “soul” of classic cars, muscle machines, and hot rods. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating custom artwork for icons and industry leaders, including:

  • Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, collaborating directly with him to illustrate official show car poster
  • American Racing Wheels, Roadsters.com, Dunn-Edwards Paints, and other industry names
  • Publications such as Hot Rod Magazine, Hemmings Motor News, Sport Truck, Rod & Custom, Custom Classic Trucks, and Mac Design Magazine

Modern Merch & Community

In recent years, I’ve returned to my screenprint roots through modern merch design. I’ve created more than 400 original designs for my online store — a mix of automotive culture, humor, nostalgia, and bold visual storytelling. It’s the perfect blend of everything I love: illustration, design, and the freedom to explore new ideas.

Beyond my own work, I’m also the founder of AutomotiveArtists.com, a community-driven site connecting automotive artists from around the world with dedicated artist pages and a forum for sharing techniques, inspiration, and conversation.
