Dan Rascom of KSL TV has put together really great documentary on Ed “Big Daddy” Roth called “A Shift of Heart: The Conversion of Ed Roth“. It takes you through Ed’s early days, through his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and then his later life in Manti, Utah.
In the documentary you’ll see lots of cool video taken from a Rat Fink Reunion. There are interviews with his widow Ilene plus many more people he touched throughout his life.
I will have to add to what they say about him in the documentary, he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. So, take the time to watch the documentary, it will give you an insight on why so many, like myself, think so much of “Big Daddy”.
