I had the honor of meeting George Barris “King Of Kustomizers” at the World Of Wheels Car Show in Kansas City. George has created about all of the TV and movie cars you see plus many hot rods and kustoms.
George brought along a car, built by movie car creator Eddie Paul, themed from the movie “The Fast and The Furious”. My Mom has an old picture of me standing next to George’s originial Batmoblie when we lived in California…..I was about 4 or 5 years old at the time.
We talked about how things have changed with the passing of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth and the many other legends that we have lost in the last couple of years. I told George that I did the artwork for Ed on his Show Car Poster. He recalled Ed telling him about it.
