Wallswaps.com is a great site created by the people at Erskine Design.
The principal is simple, just send them some stuff, any stuff, and they will send you one of their badges and then put your stuff on their wall for all the see. Not only is this a great idea for Erskine Design to promote their agency but it is also a great way to promote what you do too.

I sent them three posters of my automotive artwork and some business cards.

This is my badge.
As far as web design goes, I think they did a great job with this site. It has a really unique design. Go ahead and send them some stuff.
To get some of my stuff you can enter for your chance at one of posters and/or I will send you some of my business cards.
Ed “Big Daddy” Roth left us on this day (April 4th) back in 2001.
I got to meet and work with him around 1999-2000. The time I spent with him was like a dream come true.
I like this video about how and where they found his Orbitron show car. See the article “The Saga Ed Roth’s Long Lost Orbitron” for more on this story.
For more about Big Daddy visit EdRoth.com, for more about his Show Cars stop by MrGasser.com, and then drop by RatFink.org, while you are there say hey to Moldy Marvin for me.
It was a busy weekend but I wanted to follow up on the BatSmart auction on eBay I blogged about earlier. The auction ended last Thursday as a no sale, with the reserve not met at $16,100.
I added the color and shading to the new hood ornament piece.
My next step is to get a proof made so I can check the color, as it will look in the final print.
I saw today that the BatSmart concept car that I blogged about earlier which was featured at the 2008 SEMA Show is now for sale on eBay. Per the eBay description George Barris, the designer of the original Bat Mobile, acted as a consultant to Hurley Motorsports who built the concept.
Find out more about Hurley Motorsports.

I have been working on this new hood ornament piece. The initial line work is finished, now I need to go back and do touch-ups before adding color.
Can you tell what this hood ornament goes on?
Do you like vintage speed decals as much as I do? I came across this posting called “The logos of Speed & Power” by Ryan at JalopyJornal.com. In the posting Ryan laid out 69 of his favorite old logos.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. If you go to the bottom of the page and click “Comments on the H.A.M.B.” you will see even more logos posted by members of the H.A.M.B.
Whether you are an automotive artist or a graphic designer these logos are a great source of logo reference and inspiration.
If you know of any other places to see logos like these please add it in the comments or contact me.
